The people behind Happinezz
Joyce & Sudar
Joyce and Sudar are the team behind Travel With Happinezz. Since 2013, Joyce, originally from the Netherlands, has been living in Karimunjawa (Java) and, together with Sudar, has built Hotel The Happinezz Hills.
What started as helping hotel guests plan their journeys grew into fully personalised itineraries across all of Indonesia. With their own travel experience, cooperation with trusted local partners, and attention to detail, they arrange accommodations, transportation, and tours, ensuring a professional, well-organized, and worry-free journey.

Our home in Karimunjawa
Karimunjawa is a peaceful archipelago of 27 small islands in the Java Sea. Part of a protected national marine park, it is known for its white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. Beneath the surface lies an underwater world filled with tropical fish, sea turtles and extensive coral gardens. The relaxed island lifestyle, welcoming local community and untouched nature make Karimunjawa one of Indonesia's most beautiful hidden gems.
This is the place that Travel With Happinezz proudly calls home and where they created a charming boutique hotel and restaurant on a hill overlooking the archipelago. It is the perfect place to slow down, take a refreshing swim in the pool and enjoy spectacular sunsets with panoramic sea views. When you travel with us, we look forward to welcoming you personally and introducing you to the most beautiful hidden spots of Karimunjawa.

Through this foundation, we provide education for children and young adults in Karimunjawa. If you happen to visit Karimunjawa during your holiday, you are more than welcome to pay a visit and even participate in one of the activities yourself!
